Precise storm information
Hurricane Tracker allows users to click on any
point along the storm’s path to obtain the exact location, date and time, wind speed, pressure
and category of storm, available for past, current and projected storm paths. Users can also
view in-depth storm analysis, including information from the National Hurricane Center, via the
‘Updates’ tab.
Detailed storm history
The only application of its kind to provide
past storm information, Hurricane Tracker allows viewers to view precise information for all
hurricanes over the past 150 years. Users can search for storms either by year or by storm name
and view a detailed path within the Hurricane Tracker viewer. Users can also view and submit
photos from past storms.
Multiple customizable views
Hurricane Tracker offers multiple station-set
views, giving you control over the user experience and offering you the ability to highlight
your local market. By setting the ‘Spotlight’ location, you can highlight a particular storm
system, while a ‘Tropics Overview’ button takes users to a view of the U.S. coasts and the
Tropics, ensuring that users are always connected to the most active hurricane locations.
